mp3fiesta.com

this website is literally amazing.

a guy i frequently see at work told me about it,
i browsed. i purchased a few albums.
and then, although hesitant at first,
i paid for the annual membership.
i wanted to make sure it was legit, and i figured i could gamble with $50 in case the website went out of business before my year expired.

{BEST THING I EVER DID}
i must have downloaded hundreds of albums this past year.
and darci did her share of purchasing on my account
and it felt like it was all free
and they have quite the variety of music
it's amazing
(especially for us non-mac users who get viruses from stupid sites like limewire)

or at least i thought it was...

until now, when my annual has expired, and i feel like i cant live without this website
and a lifetime membership that was then priced at $100 is now $249.95
the annual that was then $50, is now $149.95
and a wimpy six month membership is $94.95 (that they didnt even offer a year ago)

umm? hello people i am not a baller.
why didn't you warn me that your prices would skyrocket?

so now instead of getting unlimited albums for $50
i have to resort to using my prepaid balance of $50 which turned into $100 because of a special they have going on.

but i guess i dont have much room to complain when whole albums are priced at $1.98!

screw you iTunes. MP3FIESTA, still has my heart....

at least for now.

oh, and all you people should use it too...because you get the real files, instead of the STUPID iTunes locked files.
so annoying!

date night.

with none other than my lover, val.

i never ever ever see her or talk to her much anymore.
but when we do, it is glorious.
the other day she randomly texted me to go to a movie premier with her.
so i did!!!
we went and saw....
and i really liked it.
it was definitely a cute little love story.
but you all will have to wait until may 14th to see it. haha
the best part however, was us grubbing on some panda express and probably annoying everyone around us.
we are good at that.
whenever we would take classes together we would do the same thing...with full on meals.
it was ridiculous.
but it would result in my favorite college classes ever, all because of her.
in fact, we even became bridesmaids to some random girl we barely knew in class
it was awesome and awkward all at the same time.
yep, there we are. right up in the back. and havent spoken to neither the bride nor groom since. haha. i bet they love having a couple of randoms in their pictures.
so wierd.

okay, that is all.

sushills

sushills is now what we refer to tuesday night activities...
sushi [at kan pai, duh] + the hills
me, brynn, brooke, bobby, josh, and nate

last nights premier of the hills might just have been the funniest episode of all time.
seriously.
thank you heidi montag for your entertainment.
i just want to grace you with some quotes that kept us laughing for at least a good fifteen mintues after the show ended.

first off..look at that face....
puke puke puke.
 she looks so scary.
and her eyebrows seriously never went down, not even when she cried. which was a lot.

“I got a slight eyebrow lift, which is why I have these staples in my head … my nose redone. My own fat injected into my cheeks. I had my ears pinned back, I had injections in my lips, I had my chin shaved down, I had my breasts redone, and my back shaped, and I had a little bit of inner and outer lipo done.”

i guess this is how different you can look from...10 plastic surgeries in ONE day?
umm really heidi? and you think there's nothing wrong with you??

Heidi's Dad: “Your face is more structured. It looks tighter, or like you’re frozen, or … ”
Heidi: "Plastic?"

 *******************
Heidi:  "You live in the mountains and wouldn't understand."
********************

and my personal favorite...

Heidi's Mom: “How’s that burger?”
Heidi: “I can’t really chew it.”
Heidi's Mom: “Do you want me to put it in a blender for you?”

hooray for sushills!

let me tell you about my best friend.

megan is one of my bestest friends.
we were in joy school together at age 3
and re-met in high school.
but it wasnt until after high school that sparks really flew. haha
okay not really.
but she is basically my boyfriend.
we talk, seriously, like 14 times a day.
shes the one i call on my way to work.
during work.
and when i get off work. etc.
and she does the same.
and i dont think things will change one bit once she gets hitched.
at least they better not.
travis already knows that he's basically marrying me too.
i nicknamed myself wife #2, and he loves it.

anyways this weekend was her weekend.

she went through the temple on thursday for the first time with her main squeeze aka travvy baby.

then on friday we got a little crazy at her bachelorette party...
complete with lap dances, smooches, and little bit of lingerie
at Dick's Last Resort in Excalibur

the group
ashley, megan, lisa, megan, celina, sara, layne, ashley
poor celina had knee surgery on both knees, so she was in a wheelchair. what a freaking champ.

oh how megan loved you, taco.

bar dancing at Coyote Ugly in NyNy

and clubbing at Moon and Playboy inside the Palms

then saturday was her bridal shower.
the food was amazing ( im getting real good at weenie making, fyi)...
the games were entertaining to say the least (umm apparently megan doesnt know trav as well as she thought...actually trav just kept getting all the questions wrong supposedly...)

but the company was the best!

oh how i love my megley girls.
we will always be the best of friends even though life is taking us in different directions.

then it was off to the temple for the megleys minus me.
i was kinda sad about this part...but my time will come and they will all be there for me.  :)

dont they look so beautiful?? aweee.

congrats megs...less than 3 weeks to go!
and congrats tres...just about 5 more weeks til ill be missing your face daily. and our pen pal friendship begins.

m is for marijuana

just because we don't smoke,
doesnt mean we cant celebrate!

i always like a reason to celebrate.
so today we celebrated the fact that we don't smoke.
so we're that much richer, and a lot less smelly.

we started off at macaroni grill. it starts with m like marijuana.
yummmm.

pianted our nails green {its my favorite color :)
went shopping at target, because we can.
and then went bowling. (i dont know how it fits, but it does)

i look high in the last picture...i assure you i am not.

happy 4:20 everyone!!

how freaking dope is my son?

he eats sushi like the rest of us.
oh and he loves edamame. he's basically pro at getting it out.

ps. go to kan pai sushi on sahara and cimarron.
30% off all day everyday

its life changing, i tell ya
sometimes we go 4 times a week.

hannah, bad A ink, and waxing all around.

a few weeks back we had a birthday party for our dear friend jessie.
it basically rocked.

hannah montana was there.

tattoos were got by all..

and by the end of the night, almost everyone got something waxed.
{but mostly the men...}

i participated by letting tifani wax my eyebrows. she did an amazing job :)

happy birthday jessie...thanks for letting us celebrate with you :)

my new friends are the bestest

so this weekend my parents and brother went out of town.
so it was a mommy and matix weekend, which i love
however, it also means i dont have much of a social life.
normally, my parents are really cool about me going out with friends once matix is safely tucked in bed
it's the best arrangement ever.
which is why i may never move from my parents house.
but when they are gone, i am stuck at home after he's asleep.
which i am totally fine with, but i get sad when i miss out on some fun
but at the same time its nice to catch up with things at home and watch some tv.

however my new little group of friends decided that they missed me
{awe how sweet right?}
and so if i couldnt come out and party,
they would bring the party to me!!!
so party we did.
brynn brought over a fire pit, and the ingredients for s'mores
jane sent out the mass text
and bonfire it was...
in my driveway.
it was amazing.
and people actually showed up!
(there was a ces fireside with L. Tom Perry right before the "bonfire" which is the reasoning for the church clothes of many)

too bad all, im talkin all, of my new friends are moving within the next month or two.
 epic fail.
