we had a lot of fun. we hardly ever get to go up to the salt lake area, i just wish we got to see more friends and family up there.
the temple however was beautiful and i basically want one of the houses across the street from it that are all being foreclosed on.

matix learned to crawl up stairs.
he just doesn't understand the concept of coming back down-especially backwards.
this has now created a problem with my sister julie. she no longer wants to babysit cause he requires too much attention since her house is basically all stairs.
dang it.
matix went to his last checkup before he hits the one year mark! how crazy does that sound? my baby boy is growing up so fast. people always tell you that but you dont realize it until you have your own little bundle of joy.
anyways the last 3 shots/pokes he's gotten, he has taken like a stinkin champ! no crying. nothing. just a wierd look of confusion like what the h are you doing to me lady? but ya. he's a g. just thought id remind all of you blogreaders.
(yes thats his bloody toe and him not even caring)
chloe my favorite young friend turned 21. finally.
celebration #1-grapestreet cafe. (who didnt have the bomb tomato basil soup so i am no long on good terms with)
i think chloe claims the spot of being matix's number one fan. she always comes bearing gifts. always. she calls daily to check on him. boycotts me until i bring him to her house for the prestwich family to enjoy. and doesnt even get mad when matix steals my phone and calls her at 6am. now that's love.

celebration #2-tao asian bistro and nightclub.
two hour wait in exchange for free food?? ill take it.
i loved hanging out with the girls. even if i had to sacrifice some much needed sleep for it.
king putt putt-blacklight mini golf.
jons friend zacks 23rd birthday.
family fun mini golfing (+zack kelli and dylan)
grandpa steve won (and is quite proud to say the least)
and last but not least...this is what i woke up to this morning.
i love the-just woke up still can barely open my eyes why is the light on and the camera out mom-mornings with matix.
thats what you get for sleeping in my bed little boy!
