m is for matix!!!

4 months old!!!

and boy is he growing up.

he loves to hold his binky. which can be frustrating at times because he takes it out of his mouth a lot of times when he's sleeping..even though he really wants it..then he cries. little punk.
he can hold his bottle. which can be very convenient for us! even though he's not pro yet...he does what he can!

jon is working on the crawling thing. in fact today he says to me..."ashley you lied to me..you told me if i show him how to crawl he will crawl and that's just not true...cuz i showed him and he still can't do it."
correction..i told him he needs to start encouraging it..like putting toys in front of him so he will want to crawl. apparently he thought something totally different! boys.

so today we showed him how to roll over and crawl. he was wanting to scoot so badly. kicking his legs and moving his arms so fast. he just can't get it down. is belly is pretty big. so im sure it weigh a lot. and don't even get me started on them thighs. :)

his favorite thing to do is stand. or as jon calls it.."taney-ing up" (dont ask) he loves it and if he's crying- just stand him up and he is all smiles!!

he is like the best baby ever. he is just such a little man now. he hangs out and just wants to be part of the action. i love it. but im not so fond of the attention he demands. its harder to get things done-but its worth it!!

oh-and he's balding. dang it. i know it happens to all babies..but dang. when he was born he had so much hair. now you can see his scalp.everywhere. and the mullet thing is not too far in the future. poor kid.

ps-theresa (my sis) had a baby boy on tuesday. aiden john huston. i haven't gotten to meet him yet because me and the jon and the stinks are all very sick but we will shortly and ill maybe post a picture!
