90 dollars for what...???

((a month or two back, my friend corbin and i had a conversation that went a little something like this...))

corbin: "Hey! you love the sounds....you wanna come with me and taryn on august 7th??"

me: "heck yesssssssssss i do."

corbin: "okay, but theres a catch...they're coming with no doubt."

me: "uggghh. how much....??"

corbin: "oh just $90...."

me: "say what???"

corbin: "i know it's a lot..but its THE SOUNDS!!"

so today is the day.

and instead of paying $90 dollars to see them ((for the 4th time))

with no doubt and panic! at the disco,

i will be having my own dance party tonight. by myself.
as i remember the last time i saw them and exactly how amazing it was.

Do not shut down the poor little strip station post office. I know it is not very busy, and it probably makes sense, but I am a loyal customer. I go to this place almost daily. In fact I just spent $500 buckaroos there yesterday. That has to count for something. The workers know me by name and let me sit on the bench and read a book while im waiting for my certifieds to get done. Please Oscar, just make my day and decide to not close this secret station down.

a.) she signs my yearbook 5 years after-the-fact. (and no she did not even go to my high school) she just happened to be pictured right up in there. g-status, i know.

b.) we buy matching belts. and think we're cool because of it.

c.) we still laugh at the same jokes that made us friends 5 years ago.

but i realized tonight how big of a problem it actually is.

so yesterday i added my long lost cousin on facebook who i havent seen since i was like 12...courtney wells. after she accepted my request i saw her most recent album was called viva las vegas..so of course it sparked my interest. as i am scrolling through her pictures...i come across this....

yes that is ME! at TRYST. apparently we were at the same place at the same time last month and didnt even know it. and she snapped a picture of me and didnt even know it was me! of all the people at a freaking nightclub on a friday night and i am right up front. holy heck. I am in shock.

Over 4th of July weekend, me and my best friend Megan headed off to San Antonio, Texas to see Jon! Finally! One of her best friends' husband is Jon's manager, so she wanted to go visit too! It was perfect because there is no way I would have been able to take Matix, and all his stuff on an airplane, all by myself! Megan was a lifesaver! Jon was so excited to see me, and of course Matix. He even brought him a cute little San Antonio Spurs teddy bear to gice to Matix. Cute. I can't even imagine what it's like to be away form us for so long. While in Texas we watched a fire works show, went swimming, went to Six Flags, and to Benihanas (our favorite). It was so much fun to just be together as a family again, and play with Matix together. I love my little family. It was so hard to leave. We love you daddy!

gas issues.

not the smelly kind..but the kind you pump. okay so i guess they're both smelly.

anyways so a week or so back I was getting gas, seems normal right? well when it stops automatically...I go to take the pump put of my tank...when bam...a crap load of gas shoots out of my tank all over me. my face included. what the heck. So needless to say..i smelt quite lovely for the remainder of the day. ugggh.

round 2 happened this week. I was again getting gas. (different gas station) hangin out while it pumped. Well this time...the automatic pump thing apparently didnt feel like stopping so spshhhhhhhhh... gass starts spewing out of my tank. all over the ground and of course i'm wearing a skirt and flip flops so my feet and legs got soaked. . so again i smelled of gaseous fumes for the remainder of the day. awesome.

what is it lately? am i doing something completely wrong? or do i just suck at life? i thought for a second that it was my car. but i had gotten gas a few times in between because i drove to california this weekend...and had NO PROBLEMS.

so if anyone would like to pump gas for me everytime im on E for the rest of my life i would really appreciate it, because apparently i am unable to handle such a task.
