december.

finding time to blog has become so much more difficult these days. december is always a crazy month but throw in a wild child and its that much worse.

what we've been up to...(and its quite a lot...)

i moved back to mommy and daddys. i loved living at stephs but i outgrew it really quickly. but thank you steph jeremy and shelbs for taking me in! shelbs missses her baby 'matters' so much-its cute. but now i feel like i can breathe cuz my room isnt alwasy messy and cluttered! yay!

we got a christmas tree. real and smelly. those are best. thank you to the andersons! christmas trees and decoration are my favorite part of christmas my mom has been slacking the last few years but with my brothers arrival my mom wanted to make sure we got the decorations all up-and i was all for it!

meggsy graduated from nursing school! finally. man that nursing school is rough but im glad to have a best friend back!


and im done with school too!! i managed to swing all A's except that one easy catering online class that you kinda tend to forget about? ya that one screwed me over witha B. but oh well. im happy.

girls dinner night to pei wei. getting together for a girls night is far and few betweeen. and its one of my favorite things to do! we chatted it up with some long lost friends and it was amazing.




then me and jon were off on a little mini vacation. we hit up califormnia and cruised down to mexico. we got the brandparents to all babysit and had a nice relaxing baby free trip. we stayed a couple days with my best friend stephy and zachary in costa mesa and went to six flags and basically me and jon were in heaven. then we got some of the best sushi ever on the peninsula with my good friend michelle olewinski. then we were off to the cruise ship. it rained in mexico, but going on a cruise in chilly weather wasnt as bad as i thought. the hot tub was nice. the hot chocolate was yummy. and we made friends with people form just about ever country. we had our own little posse parading around the ship with all sorts of couples from az, israel, thailand, germany, iraq, etc. hopefully we keep in touch with some of them so we'll have some foreign connections-which i am all about! i had so much fun spending some much needed quality time with my jonathan, since our schedules are so opposite. and it was nice to catch up on sleep but i found myself really missing mister stinks the whole time. i think we showed off pictures of him to everyone!! haha.

then last friday my brother brian got home form his mission! i dont have any pictures on my camera but it was great to see him and we're good little friends living it up with mom and dad together like the old days. basically like our whole lives with a little matix added in. his homecoming i think is gonna be this sunday the 28th at 10 am at the pennwood and arville chapel. be there or be square.

now we're just excited for christmas to be here! matixs first christmas-i cant wait.

update....

back to that not-so-EXCellENT news.
there was a slight possibility that i was going to be able to go to ellen with darci however it didnt quite work out. darci ended up going and said it wasnt as wonderful as we thought because there were oh about 4000 people in the audience. meaning no dancing with ellen. no presents. and no games. basically no point. anyways we have great plans of one day gettin tickets to her real show in cali. wish us luck haha. they are quite the hot commodity.

apparently pregnancy has some sort of drastic effect on vision.
i have always had 20/20 vision. at least until little man came along. now i have horrrible vision. jon wont even drive with me at night cuz its that bad. and being in school makes it that much worse cuz i cant see the board. not at ALL. anyays i got glasses. i think i like them. hello four eyes.









my mom me and my sister stephanie went to signature productions beauty and the beast play a few weeks back. ssooooooo good. a girl in my ward was mrs pots so our releif society decided to go. i miss going to things like that like when i was little. it was fun and they did a spectacular job.

for thanksgiving me jon matix and the rest of my fam went up to brian head to our cabin. it was a lot of fun. there was sooo much snow. i loved it.
yes that is a pink jumpsuit. and jon is wearing it.




















now its the last week of school...then finals...then a mini vacation for me and jon. with no baby. thanks to the grandparents. i cant wait!

oh and im currently in the process of moving me and matix back to moms house.
talk about being busy. especially when i have a little scoudrel who gets into mischief all the time now, like this....

too bad for you...you cant know what it is cuz i dont wanna curse us. but basically i love darci and her friend. and hopefully friday will be the best day of my life. cross your fingers that everything works out like we hope! ahhhhh!!!

-he crawls-okay so its a little bit of 'get up on his hands and knees and dive onto the carpet'..but he sure gets where he wants-verrry slowwwly. the bed has now become a dangerous place for him to be with no one watching!

-he cut his first tooth this moring! poor guy has been teething for so long and finally he can get a little relief! ha. only a million more to go! no wonder he had a rough night last night. i feel bad for being angry with him now.

-we started feeding him solid foods a few weeks ago. hes had sweet potatoes and carrots and he's a fan i think. he pushes it out because he doesnt quite know how to use his tongue yet-jon swears it means he doesnt like it but he doesnt make yucky faces and opens for more..so i disagree.

you are all jelaous.

ya thats right. i won tickets on the radio to the advanced screening on tuesday and you are all jealous. darci is sooo excited. and so am i. but mostly im excited that i dont have to go to the midnight showing and die. now darc owes me ellen tickets..which dont even worry we are in the works on all that...

but i am a little sad i didnt get through for jonas brothers. stupid 94.1.

stephs twenty-first

its hard to believe my best friend in the whole world stephy is 21. we've been friends since i was in 5th grade and she was in 3rd...when she moved next door to me from phillippines. aww i love her. even though i was sad at first cuz melissa moved and none of the tesoros spoke english (haha). but we have stayed best friends for quite some time now. anyways back to bday business...she wanted to go dancing so we went to tao and boy was it fun! steph owned the dance floor. me and megs tried to keep up but we took like 5 breaks over the 6 hours we were there..stephy on the other hand-didnt take one! and our feet were killin us (and still are believe it or not) but hers did not. what the heck.

on halloween my WHOLE family went down to safestreet at town square to start off the night.

jon got a new toy. peyton. his moms coworker gave it to him. not my idea at all. but he is pretty cute for the time being. ill change my mind once he gets bigger. (im not a dog lover..unfortunately for jon) but for now jon sleeps every night with peyton. peyton joined us at safestreet and got more attention than any of the kids.


and matix sure loves him already. poor peyton gets a little bit abused.

afterwards jon had work and i went out with my friends while grandma babysat.
