three months and counting

mister matix is now three months old and is just so much fun. i swear he is starting to teethe bc he drools and gnaws on anything and everything. becoming a little chunky monkey and it is so cute. (check out them thighs) bath time is his favorite cuz he can wiggle and splash freely. our chit chats have progressed from one way conversations to two, and i swear he thinks we understand exactly what he has to say. i love every second i spend with him. he' s my little buddy who let's me haul him around everywhere i go and hardly complains. i just love him so much.

i love seeing jon interact with matix. it is so cute. he talks to him just like he's a little man and can understand every word...even back when he was in the belly. since i work days and jon works nights...he watches matix and they just hang out and have boy time. usually consisting of underwear/diaper time in bed,watching cartoons (jon swears its matix's idea but i see right through his lies) and boucy time while jon cooks eggs. my favorite however is all the nicknames jon seems to come up with for the babes... wiggle stinks, binky boy ( cuz he binks it up all day long), mr stinks, little man, fussy face...to name a few. and i wish i could record this cuz its hilarious, but i often find jon singing songs to him, making them up as he goes with all his nicknames somehow tied in. so funny.

so matix's new favorite thing is his swing. when he's crying (which isnt all too often..im so lucky) all i have to do is put him in his swing. he glances into the mirror directly over his head...and just starts gigglin away. it is the cutest thing ever. he is so amused. anyways..i just thought id share.

last night for fhe we went with my family to lake mead. we had dinner and played around for a couple of hours. it was a blast. a perfect first time for mister stinks. he was so unbelievably good. he wore a life jacket. rode on the boat. played in the water. and all with barely any crying. i can tell he is going to love the lake just as much as the marx clan!!

this weekend was kind of like a girls weekend. jon and i hang out all the time so we both just did some of our own things this weekend..so it was fun. i love hanging out with girlfriends...and i especially loved hanging out with audrey and chloe. they are 2 of my best friends but i hardly get to see them. (no pictures with audrey dang it...but you can hear her laughing in matix's music video :)) we went to dinner at grape street..yummy!...visited nat at her crazy house..then just chatted into the night at chloe's. it was a blast and matix definitely is a fan of chlo and found a new passion for dancing! in fact after the 'filming' he was dancing on his own for the rest of the night!here is matix's debut into the music world!!
