missing tres.

 

 megley's missing tres :(

for those of you who get her letters, you already know how interesting tres' mission has been. 

but for those of you who don't, im gonna do a little recap just for fun...

1.)  an investigator had a seizure while they were teaching him. 

2.) next door neighbors who were brothers got in a fight. one got run over three times and was killed. the other got beat up and put in a coma and ended up being the suspect in his brothers murder.

umm. super freaky???

(ps they also lived on top of a bar) 

3.) moved into the ladies attic that they just baptized that week. "hi, welcome to the church... wanna get baptized? um... can we live with you?" 

4.) spent 7 hours cleaning their new house after moving out of the attic

5.)  got broken into their new house, moved to vermont

"had a little incident in our new house ... i got woke up at about 2 am with someone banging on our back door... so i woke up sister nelson and we both heard someone messing with the door and the windows (which we left open... stupid us) so we both tried to look outside but we couldn't see anything... we heard more loud noises so we got into a closet and waited... our phone was downstairs so we had nothing... anyway, i'll explain details later... but it's unsafe for us to be in this area so they are switching us for elders... we're been staying with a member in another town for the last few days... i'm completely exausted... but we're both safe now :) no worries... don't worry about me.. i'm okay now."

6.) and now is on bedrest with...APPENDICITIS

 "where i'm at in vermont is bigger for sure... but it's still completely DEAD... and it's continuing to be dead because... i'm on bedrest. and yes, i'm breaking it to you via e-mail. i'm actually trying to get into a doctor today... on wednesday night i woke up and had the worst stomach ache... and it still hasn't gone away... it goes all the way down my stomach and then goes to the right... yep, appendicitis... that's what the mission doctor is thinking anyway... so i've been on a "liquids only" diet (figures, the week that members bring over TONS of food... and i can't eat any of it) and i have to stay laying down all the time. my poor companion is going nuts being stuck in the apartment all day... and so am i. but they are concerned that it's not going away, that i have no appetite, and that i get nauseous every time i'm up... bummer huh? man, i knew that satan works really hard on missionaries, but come on! this is awful... but don't worry... i'm trying to get into a doctor today and if anything major happens, sister wilkey will let you know :) 

wow...talk about having bad luck!

but on the plus said she has had some really cool stuff happen like...

baptism first week in the field...freaking dope.

 baptism on her anniversary baptism date...super dope.

not required to wear nylons.  LUCKY

joseph smith memorial is in their mission and they get to take investigators

anyways...i miss her. i love her letters. i love that she has such a positive attitude about everything that is happening to her (i probably would have turned my back on god by now..maybe not but still...she's a saint.)

and i think everyone should pray that she gets better.
