Bishop and Baptism.

I know that all I post about are trips. But guess what? That's our life. We go from one vacation to the next. But I can't say that I don't love it...although it can get overwhelming always being gone. But these  two trips to Utah were well worth it. Devin's dad got put in as bishop of the ward. And his oldest niece, Payson got baptized. Of course they didn't happen on the same weekend so we had to make two trips up there. But I can't complain. We got to do lots of fun things like go to a hockey game, dinner and late night hang out with friends, and laser tagging. We love seeing our friends and family. We had a blast both trips and can't wait for our next reason to visit good 'ole Utah. 

California Lovin'

While we were in California we decided to spend Sunday and Monday in Huntington with our favorite friend, Margo. Monday was Labor Day so Margo didn't have work. We had dinner in LA with Margo's family, went to a game night and saw some of our HB friends and then had a massive sleepover-all in one bed! It sure was cozy. Monday we spent the day doing all of our favorite Californian activities... beach going, sand castle making, bike riding, and burger eating. It was the best day and the best little trip spending time with some of my favorite people in the whole wide world.

 A couple weeks ago I headed down to California to throw a little baby shower for little Calvin. It was so much fun to celebrate his safe arrival with some of her California friends. I'm so proud of Stephanie. She's already such a good little mom. And I'm happy to report that Baby Calvin is now safely at home with her full time. So exciting!!!

And while we were there, Matix finally got to really meet Calvin. He almost gave Zachary a heart attack with how much he loved him. (He kept wanting to touch his head and face and hands) We love our little baby. 

Winter Wonderland.

Can I just tell you how awesome having a Christmas break is?

I literally had two weeks off work!! 

TWO WHOLE WEEKS. 

It was seriously heavenly. 

As a result of my Christmas break we decided to spend an entire week up in Utah with Devin's family after Christmas. It was seriously so much fun. The Lethbridge's spoiled us with a second Christmas the night we got up there. And then they spoiled us again by taking us to see Les Miserables and to a big family dinner. We had a blast. The rest of the week we spent sledding, seeing the lights at temple square, visiting my Grandpa and Grandma Jacobsen (my moms parents), taking a girl's trip Creativity, playing games friends, family bowling, and hosting an awesome New Years Party, complete with party hats and children staying awake for the countdown.  It was such a fun week. I can't tell you how much I love Devin's friends and family. We always have such a good time with them.

While we were there, my best friend Tres gave birth to her sweet baby girl, Chandler Kate. So I got to stop by and meet her on the drive back to Vegas. She is adorable.
