It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

We have done a few fun things to get ready for the upcoming holidays so far....

Matix very much comprehends the whole Santa Claus thing.

He knows that if he is good, Santa will bring him toys!

Going to the store has gotten so much easier...
"if you're good, maybe Santa will bring it for you" 
It works like a charm.

Thank goodness for Santa!

This was our last visit to walmart...

he is telling me everything he "wants" for Christmas.

I hope Santa made a list...because this kid wants EVERYTHING.

isn't he just the sweetest thing you've ever seen :)

He is no longer "afraid of Sa Sa" like last year...he jumped right up on his lap and told him what he wants!

vs. 

gosh, that picture from last year makes me laugh so hard. 

We went to the live nativity. Fortunately it's back (after 2 years of being gone)...and we loved it.

Matix could have petted the animals for hours. We settled for about 45 min.

he talked to them. kissed them. and fed them hay.

pretty much equivalent to matix heaven...im sure.
the kid loves loves loves loves loves animals.

 

we also went to the Festival of Lights out at the Las Vegas Speedway with the grandparent and great grandparent. (Jacobsen) Of course matix loved this, too. He tried getting so close to the lights that i swear he could have fallen right out of the window and not even cared. good thing i had a tight grip!
