so this morning i was listening to the radio as i was getting ready for work.(mark and mercedes, duh) i turned it on while they were doing a segment on people saying thanks to nice people, that they didn't ever get to thank. it was so cute to hear of all the nice people in the world...
-one girl gave her extra time (2 hours) to someone in a meter who didn't have money
-another stopped to fix some college girl's car on the side of the road...and then followed her for 30 min to make sure she was fine.
-a man paid ($30) for a young boys contacts when his mom didn't give enough money for them.
-another let a family with car problems go to the movies with them before driving them the 30 min back home.
- a man mailed a girl her camera and money and id she left in a cab all the way in nyc and instead of leaving his return address he took a pic of him self and left a note.
the list went on and on. i absolutely loved it. I love the idea of paying it forward. (good movie, too) sometimes it's just nice to be nice. it makes my heart happy to hear of all the nice people in the world. especially at this time of year. and being nice to perfect strangers. the next time i go through the drive through...i think i'm gonna pay for the person's food behind me. i have always liked that idea and never done it. and for everyone (there's a lot of you) who have done something nice for me..and i didn't say thank you...THANK YOU! i have been spoiled lately. now go pay it forward and do something nice for a stranger.
